‘Tis the season! The team at Research Alloys has been feeling holly jolly all month long, and we want to help our customers do the same! Read on to learn about December happenings at our recycling center.
Recycle Christmas Lights
Americans discard over 20 million pounds of holiday lights each year. Help keep broken and unwanted lights out of the landfill when you stop by 110 N. Sylvan Ave. to drop off old lights for recycling– we even pay! Old lights are sent to be processed into new products, including new copper wire and flip-flop soles.
Feeling Festive
When you stop by the recycling center, take a moment to admire our decorations– a Christmas tree decorated with scrap metal ornaments we crafted from discarded materials, and stockings for everyone on the team!
Recycle for Ronald
Help do some good this holiday season when you “Recycle for Ronald.” Drop off your scrap materials and let the staff know you’re contributing to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. We’ll weigh in your scrap materials and mail a check for the contributions directly to RMHC. It’s fast, easy, and a convenient way to responsibly recycle while helping a good cause.
